SIDEWALK REPAIR - SLAB-SAWING
The damaged sections were carefully cut and removed, making way for the installation of new concrete. The corners were also modified, replacing the existing material with brick-colored pigmented concrete. This new material features a tactile stamp, specifically designed for visually impaired individuals, helping them navigate the area safely. The red pigment not only enhances the aesthetic of the space but also serves as a visual marker, making it easier to identify wheelchair ramps from a distance.

In addition, we used expansion joints, which we’ve previously highlighted on our social media. These joints are key in preventing the concrete from cracking entirely; instead, only the section where the stress is concentrated needs to be replaced. This method ensures the long-term durability of the surface while maintaining a smooth and functional design for all users.
